Ancient Eleusinian Coin
We immerse ourselves in the power and purification of the Eleusinian Mysteries. We let the wisdom of Triptolemus and the protection offered by the sacred pig, to us guide to a new beginning, full of light and positive energy.
These two figures embody the power of knowledge and the need for purification, making this coin a powerful symbol for a new beginning filled with light and prosperity. All jewellery is made of silver 925o or gold-plated silver and 14k - 18k gold.
On one side it depicts Triptolemus, son of King Celeus of Eleusis, who, according to legend, received the knowledge of cultivation and sowing from the goddess Demeter. Demeter appointed him as her messenger to spread this knowledge throughout the world, traveling in the chariot she gave him. As the first priest of Demeter, Triptolemus symbolizes knowledge, which is a source of power and prosperity. Demeter, to reward the hospitality he received from his parents in Eleusis, gave Triptolemus a chariot pulled by winged dragons and a large quantity of wheat so that he could sow it and teach sowing throughout the world.

On the other side of the coin is the sacred piglet, a symbol of the Eleusinian Mysteries. During these mysteries, each prospective initiate offered a small piglet to the goddess Demeter as a token of purification and cleansing. The piglet represents the discarding of evil and the achievement of inner purity.
