It is considered to be one of the most
beautiful symbols of the Grecian era,
representing goddess Demeter. It was
used as adornment for sanctuaries
and diadems and as a charm or a jewel, by both mortals and gods.
It is characteristic that rodakas adorns the ear of the Caryatid that supported the city's propylaea and is currently housed in the archaeological museum of Eleusis.
