Rodakas: An eternal symbol of harmony

The "oktapetalos" (8-petals) rosette "Rodakas" stands symbolically and most impressively at the archaeological site of Eleusis, right outside the Plutonium.

The “oktapetalos” (8-petals) rosette “Rodakas”is a sacred symbol of goddess Demeter, one of the most beautiful symbols of the Grecian era, an exquisite adornment, charm and jewel. Our jewellery is made of 925' silver, or 18k or 14k gold and gold-plated silver.

It is considered to be one of the most beautiful symbols of the Grecian era, representing goddess Demeter. It was used as adornment for sanctuaries and diadems and as a charm or a jewel, by both mortals and gods.

It is characteristic that rodakas adorns the ear of the Caryatid that supported the city's propylaea and is currently housed in the archaeological museum of Eleusis.
